This track is the first collaboration between D. Majestic and Panoramic View, as part of their "Quick Vibes" series. The Spectral Band's Dan Moriarty and Panoramic View's Aaron Abrahamson Cote first met in 2001, where they were both percussionists in their high school's band program. They've been in each others' orbits for decades, but this project represents their first recorded musical collaboration after 23 years of friendship.
"Overflow (D. Majestic Remix)" is one of four recordings based around a core musical concept composed by Cote. Three other versions (one of which also features D. Majestic's drum tracks) are available on Panoramic View's Bandcamp:

D. Majestic's remix features everything cranked up to 11. Moriarty recorded drums played at extremely high volumes using microphones that could absolutely not handle the audio levels. From there, compressors, distressors, and saturators were completely abused to produce a distorted, smashed, stretched, raw, blown-out track. It sounds cool as shit.
